A Calm, Collaborative Space for Growth and Healing
Hi, I’m Dr. Danielle Spears, a licensed psychologist working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also have a particular interest in perinatal mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and supporting clients through the emotional and identity shifts that can come with these experiences.
My clinical approach is rooted in emotion-focused and relational-cultural therapy, which means I pay close attention to emotions, patterns in relationships, and the ways we are shaped by connection, disconnection, and meaning-making with others. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to offer practical, personalized tools clients can take with them between sessions and apply in real life.
Therapy with me tends to feel like a calm, grounded space—conversational, reflective, and collaborative. Together, we slow things down enough to really understand what’s happening beneath the surface, while also building concrete skills for coping, navigating stress, and moving toward what matters most to you. I often bring in gentle humor when it fits, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy all the time.
I am identity-affirming and strive to create a space where clients feel respected, seen, and able to show up as their full selves without having to explain or justify who they are. I especially welcome individuals who are new to therapy or unsure of where to start… there’s no “right way” to begin, just a willingness to show up as you are.
